Nicknamed ‘Red’ because of his flaming red hair, though it later turned snow white.
Graduate of Delgado Trade School, now Delgado College, New Orleans, as an electrician.
Worked with his father at Magic Theater, New Orleans.
Owned and operated a chicken farm in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and later a truck farm there with a partner. The chicken farm was seized by soldiers during a revolution. The truck farm was invaded by locusts and destroyed. Both partners ended up working for United Fruit Company in Tela, Honduras.
Operated a lending book library in Michigan upon his return from Honduras.
World War II veteran.
Managed a ladies’ shoe store (Morton Williams Co.) until his retirement.
Lived with his son and daughter-in-law (Marty) when he died in Murray Hill, New Jersey.
