Narrative

Descendant of Don Bartolome (No. 1); lived in Cordova in the tenth century. Through the friendship of Ḥasdai ibn Shaprut he enjoyed the favor of the calif Abd al-Raḥman III. He was appointed a dayyan of the community of Cordova.
